Back From Vacation!

I have returned from vacation and getting back into the swing of things. Our family rented a house with a pool just outside of Manson, Washington. The weather was 80 degrees plus every day and it only rained a little drizzle one day but it was still a hot one! Besides relaxing and swimming at the pool we went bowling at Chelan Lanes, played some mini golf, won some money at the Mill Bay Casino, AKA "cashino", visited Blueberry Hills, and played for a day at Slide Waters the waterpark in Chelan. After a week in the Chelan area we headed over to the Grand Coulee Dam and spent some time at Lake Roosevelt. The Dam was spectacular and the 30 minute light show was a great entertaining way to learn about the Columbia River and how the Grand Coulee Dam was created by President Roosevelt.

I Love Hummingbirds

Recently I have been interested in hummingbirds and decided to get a feeder to try and attract them. After a month of hanging up the sugar water and hoping that one would come by it happened! I decided to get this book from Amazon in order to learn more about these cute little birds. If you are lucky enough to live in an area with hummingbirds I strongly reccomend attracting them with a feeder or outfitting your garden with hummingbird flowers. You won't regret it! In order to honor these little birds and to promote fellow etsians here are a few items from etsy that represent hummingbirds.
